How do *You* get the Intel(r) AMT info that you need?

One of the things we are always trying to figure out on our Manageability Community is how does the community like to get their information.  This poll asked the community where they find their best answers to their Intel AMT questions  (note:  not where they would *like* to find their best answers – which I think could have different results.)

The poll received 18 responses (as usual, this is not a huge number of responses but is probably indicative of the number of "heavy users" we have in our community.) The first option was for Googling – only 2 (11%) stated that they find their best answers from googling.  This low number was not a surprise.  Google searches have to be very carefully crafted in order to result in meaningful Intel(r) AMT answers.  First of all, AMT is also "Alternative Minimum Tax" which is a very popular search item and if we add AMT to the Google search tools, we end up paying a fortune for everytime someone clicks on our links looking for the alternative acronym.  My conclusion here is that the 2 individuals who answered this one are masters at Googling!

10 (55%) people responded that they get their best information from the Blogs! Hurray!  We have certainly made a big effort to write great blogs that help our developers answer their questions.  This was our highest score in the poll.

4 (22%) of the responders find their answers by searching the Manageability Forum.  This was the second highest score.  Certainly many questions that developers have are already there in some form or another so it was good to see that our community uses the search function when they have questions.

1 (6%) of the responders find that our videos are useful.  I am wondering if this is because the videos are difficult to find (are they?) or that community members do not want to bother with audio at their desks at work (maybe they don&apost have head phones or maybe there is a language barrier that makes written information easier to comprehend?)

1 (6%) get their answers by asking their questions on the forum.  I actually expected this one to be a little higher since the number of Creators in a community is probably more likely to be 20-30%.  However, as one of our users pointed out regarding the poll, there is not an option to choose more than one answer.  For example, this particular user uses a combination of blogs, searching and then asking.  So it is possible that in looking at the results, our community may prefer to look through the blogs first, then search the forum and then if all of that fails, they will go ahead and ask their question.

In the last place at 0 responders, was the option to read through the articles and the whitepapers on the Manageability Community. Again, I&aposm not sure why this was so low.  Is it because, although we have a lot of documents on our site, the document of interest might be hard to find?  Or that the particular document that answers a particular question might be difficult to pinpoint?

Here are are the results in table-form – let us know what you think!
