I’m a Mobile Misfit…

According to our Mobile Etiquette Facebook quiz I don’t “tech responsibly”:
“As a Mobile Misfit, mobile etiquette is not in your vocabulary. Mobile devices were created to make life easier for you and others, not to wreak havoc on those around you. It’s time for an intervention!”
This may be true, but I don’t think I’m alone here! Come one, we’ve all seen it, someone holding up the coffee line as they finish a call on their cell, someone hogging an entire table with their laptop, netbook and other gadgets or someone checking out “inappropriate” content on a laptop in a public place!

As technology and mobile devices have continued to get smaller, lighter and faster, there is a new “code of conduct” when it comes to Mobile Etiquette.
A recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive* and sponsored by Intel found that 90 percent of U.S. adults are frustrated by others’ etiquette or lack thereof when using mobile devices, including laptops, netbooks and smart phones in certain places!
The number one pet peeve of survey responders is something I’m definitely guilty of:  texting or typing on Internet enabled devices (e.g., laptop, mobile phone, PDA) while driving a car.
Intel Insider iJustine made some awesome videos for us to demonstrate how to be a “Mobile Master”!:
