Meet the Intel Software Network Team!

The Intel Software Network team has been interacting with the developer community for some time now.  Ever wonder who the people are behind the names?

Now you can meet the people have brought you the Intel Software Network (intel.com/software).  This is the first in a series of videos that will introduce many of the folks who are behind building a community of  software developers around multicore, parallel programming, visual computing, graphics, gaming, mobility and more — helping  software developers write better code.

Every week we will roll out videos of a new team member/members.  The first in the series is a video featuring Bill Pearson, Arti Gupta, Josh Bancroft, Aaron Tersteeg and Matt Groener.

Bill Pearson – Manager of Intel Software Network.
Bill manages the Intel Software Network team. He enjoys working with remarkable people and technology. He joined Intel in 1997 after years of working on computer systems in airplanes. Bill spends his free time reading, taking pictures, dabbling in music, and exploring technology

Arti Gupta — Community manager for Games DevelopmentArti is the community manager for Games Development on the Intel Software Network team. She joined Intel in 1998 and in her 10 year tenure has worked on a variety of software engineering projects as a developer, architect, and project manager. She has now turned her focus on community management for the Intel Software Network site. Arti loves to travel, ski and cook and is a full time mom.

Josh Bancroft – Producer Intel Software Network TV and Gadget Geek
Josh is the producer for the recently launched live TV on ISN. Josh is also a storyteller. He finds cool new things, use them to make his life better, and teach others to do the same.

Aaron Tersteeg – Community manager parallel programming and multicoreConstant learner, enthusiastic teacher…skier, cyclist, chef, fly caster, volunteer, Orangeman, investor, media junkie and beer drinking party guy. Aaron launched the mobile software development community in the summer of 2006 and is now the community manager for Parallel Programming and Multi-Core. In his current role Aaron’s focus is software development evangelist and geek blogger. Started as a mechanical engineer (oil pump design didn&apost do it for him), moved on to Information Resource Management, worked as a Business Process Consultant, Fortune 500 Webmaster, Web Application Development VP of Sales and Marketing, Data Center Product Management and now Software Development. My wife likes to tell people at parties that I blog for a living. It is much more than that but it lets me share my ideas and hear what developers have to say.

Matt Groener – Manager of the engineering team of Intel Software Network site. Matt manages the innovative team that develops and maintains the Intel Software Network website and its myriad of applications. Matt is an avid cyclist and voider of warranties. If you want to find what that means drop him a line at matt.groener@intel.com
